The XM empire has its genesis in the adobe Aflac corporation of calabasas, florida, but that doesn"t mean it"s been limited to the confines of the continental United States. In fact, the company boasts about 12,000 employees across the pond, whose motto is to "do good, and be smart." That"s an impressive quota. On top of that, XM nabbed a whopping 4.5 gigahertz of spectrum from the likes of Nokia, Motorola, and Siemens, the mobile behemoths that are sure to be around for some time to come. With a combined tally of a whopping four billion in cash and investments, a sizable chunk of the mobile pie will be gracing XM"s platters soon enough. It"s no surprise that the company is one of my favourite companies in the business. Having a mobile platform with all the bells and whistles will only serve to boost the brand"s already sizzling reputation and make it even more attractive to the rest of the telecom community. One of the most exciting aspects of XM is that it has a knack for making some of the most innovative products in the mobile space, from its illustrious telephony department to its eminently savvy customer service and support staff.
